I’d now like you to spend a few minutes thinking about how you might go about testing an egg.<\/p>\n

Now<\/em><\/strong> I’d like you to read this<\/a> and this<\/a>. (Oh, read this<\/a> if you can’t read Chinese. Oops). Now ask yourself if there’s anything you’d like to change about your egg-testing strategy. Or another question you think might be worth asking before you start testing the egg.<\/p>\n

The questions that leap out at me are –<\/p>\n

– Who am I testing this for?
\n– What is the purpose of the egg?<\/p>\n

When testing, we often assume the answer to these questions without checking what our mission<\/a><\/em> really is. This can lead to unwelcome surprises at the pointy end of the project.<\/p>\n
